Kevin Mitchell

Kevin currently serves as Director Governmental Retirement Services. He brings valuable experience from his 10 year career at Nationwide serving governmental deferred compensation plans in the state, including the State of Indiana’s 457b/401a Deferred Compensation plans. Mr. Mitchell has extensive knowledge of 457(b), 401(a) and 501(c) Post Employment Health Plans(PEHP/VEBA) and will be a valuable resource to this team.

Prior to Nationwide, Kevin worked in the private sector as a Financial Advisor working with individual clients and 401(k) plans. His focus was on providing fiduciary level advice to guide individuals and business owners to and through retirement.

Mr. Mitchell has achieved the Certified Retirement Counselor® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees from Ohio University, where he also went from walk-on to Captain of the golf team.

Kevin is married to Danielle and together they have two children, Finley(11) and Landon(7). They currently reside in Carmel, Indiana. He still enjoys playing golf, sometimes competitively, but most of his free time is spent coaching soccer, baseball and basketball for Carmel Dads Club Youth Sports.
